  31. Yes, another year has almost   finished.   In  fact, it  is  eleven twelfths 
  32. finished.  This year seems to have gone very  quickly  to  me, but that  was 
  33. probably because I have been so busy.
  34.  
  35. College work was a bit of a bummer.   Especially  since  my college  bag was 
  36. nicked with 6 months work in it, half way through the course, so I had to do 
  37. a hell of a lot to catch up.
  38.  
  39. I released my first licenceware product, which was Freaked Out 2.    After a 
  40. lot of hassle with Dan Walton, the   head, I  got  paid, and  then Powerfist 
  41. Licenceware collapsed.   Pity really, it had a lot going for it.   (I  would 
  42. just  like  to  point out that contrary to  popular  belief,  POWER  has\had 
  43. nothing to do with POWERFIST apart from the fact that a few issues of  POWER 
  44. were temporarily released through them).
  45.  
  46. Budgie U.K. also seems to have died.  Maybe I'm wrong, but two  years   ago, 
  47. Budgie was all the rage, but now, there's virtually nothing  coming  out  of 
  48. the Budgie studio.  Oh well.

  50. An ST magazine (ST User I think) has bitten the dust.    It  doesn't  really 
  51. worry me to be honest because I never buy them anyway.

  55. Next thing I knew, I fell ill, and now it has taken me 2 months to  complete
  56. this article!

  60. O.K., now I am almost back to full health,  I  will  try  to  complete  this

  66. In June I met Melissa Hart, but everyone knows about that already so I won't
  67. ponder on this point.

  69. I started my BTEC national diploma year two course in September.  It's going
  70. O.K. so far, although one of my lecturers is going to  take  a  look  at  my 
  71. program tomorrow.  His name is Mr. Konkol.  Yes, odd I know.    He  raves on 
  72. about how fantastic the Cobol programming language is.  Sometimes I think he 
  73. tried to change his name to Mr. Cobol, but the deed poll people said someone 
  74. had already done that, and so he couldn't.  He probably decided that  Konkol 
  75. was near enough to Cobol anyway.

  77. And now, it is nearing December 1st, my birthday. Hope issue 23 is good, and
  78. that it is dedicated to me (again!).    Have  a  very  Merry  Christmas, and 
  79. a great new year.

  85. POWER : Well, as you can see this article is a bit out of date but it got to 
  86. me in January on the day of releasing this issue of POWER so what can I  do?  
  87. Ah,  the  troubles and traumas of being a disk mag editor...Who'd do it  eh?  
  88. Oh well, somebody's got to do it...Sigh...
